To date, MONTONI has completed more than 700 projects representing over 30 million square feet of industrial, commercial, institutional and residential construction, with another 25 million square feet under development—an impressive portfolio of properties across Québec.

The ambition to build a sustainable world

Proudly holding the title of one of Canada’s Best-Managed Companies for nearly 25 years, MONTONI has committed to making ESG (environmental, social and governance) criteria a permanent strategic reflex. It has completed more than 5.2 million square feet of LEED-certified buildings and, among projects under way, is targeting LEED certification for close to 7 million square feet. Additionally, it is in the process of acquiring Zero-Carbon Building (ZCB) certification for nearly 4.5 million square feet. MONTONI’s ambition is to build the real estate heritage of tomorrow that will be a source of pride for future generations.

The office tower at Espace Montmorency receives LEED® Platinum certification. It is the 3rd project in Quebec to achieve this level for core and shell projects.

MONTONI relocates into the new office tower at Espace Montmorency, providing all of its employees with a new home in a contemporary building that the group constructed, with modern design that meets the WELL certification criteria.

Plans are unveiled for the first MONTONI buildings to aim for Zero-Carbon Building (ZCB) certification, namely the Laval V Corporate Centre, a former Laval drive-in site, as well as the Ecoparc Saint-Bruno, which reaffirms the company's commitment to sustainable development for future generations.

MONTONI acquires the site of the former Molson brewery, a development of nearly 6 million sq. ft. in downtown Montréal. The Consortium, formed by MONTONI and the Fonds immobilier de solidarité FTQ, aims to revitalize the industrial site and blend it into the current urban development, while highlighting its unique heritage.

Completion of the second phase of the CentrOparc corporate centre in Mascouche. Desjardins and St-Hubert among others, set up shop there.

MONTONI enters the residential market with the launch of 495 Beaumont, a rental property located in the Parc-Extension neighbourhood of Montréal.

The year 2020 marks MONTONI's 25th anniversary and the completion of more than 415 commercial and industrial projects for clients active in all sectors of the economy.

Official unveiling of the Espace Montmorency project in partnership with the Fonds immobilier de solidarité FTQ. Espace Montmorency is a $450-million multifunctional development located near the Montmorency métro station in Laval.

MONTONI is awarded the INOVA Award by the Institut de développement urbain du Québec in the Integrated Industrial and R&D Building category, for its construction of the Lumenpulse Group headquarters.

MONTONI takes home the MOBA Sustainable Transportation Leader Award for its efforts to reduce the environmental impact of the Ericsson project. MONTONI also wins the INOVA Award from the Institut de développement urbain du Québec in the Commercial Construction Costs Over $50 Million category for the same project.
