The Laval VIII Corporate Centre is a commercial building completed in 2013 that stands out for its innovative, avant-garde design. Through a partnership with Lufa Farms, large greenhouses were built on the roof of this building constructed for Déco Surfaces and Équipements de sécurité Hotte. In addition to growing fresh fruit and vegetables without pesticides or chemicals for retail sale, the roof-top greenhouses reduce energy consumption by 15% to 20%.
