Molson

In partnership with the Fonds immobilier de solidarité FTQ and Groupe Sélection, MONTONI becomes the owner of the former Molson brewery site on Notre-Dame East in Montreal. The industrial site will be revitalized so that it harmonizes with its current urban development context while still respecting its heritage.

2019 Espace Montmorency

MONTONI officially inaugurates the Espace Montmorency project. Laval’s more important urban construction project is launched in partnership with Groupe Sélection and the Fonds immobilier de solidarité FTQ.

MONTONI acquires 495 Beaumont in the Park Extension area of Montreal in order to develop a project that aligns with the character of the surrounding neighbourhood. The project will highlight the site’s industrial past in terms of its use of space and materials selected.

Lumenpulse

MONTONI wins an award in the category of “Integrated Building, Industrial and R&D” from Immobilier commercial magazine for its construction of the head office for Groupe Lumenpulse.

Ericsson

MONTONI is named “Leader in Sustainable Transportation” by MOBA for its reduction of the environmental impact of the Ericsson project. For the same project, MONTONI was awarded a prize by INOVA 2016 in the category “Commercial – Construction Costs Over $50 Million.”

MONTONI celebrates its 20th anniversary. With over 100 employees, it has a portfolio of over 400 projects, including 3.5 million square feet of LEED®-certified buildings, 30 corporate centres and 15 million square feet under development.

Campus corporatif Ville Saint-Laurent

MONTONI acquires a site in Ville Saint-Laurent to construct a new corporate campus and Canadian head office for Ericsson. With more than 1,700 employees, this project will be amongst Ericsson’s largest outside of Sweden.

MONTONI receives the Leadership prize from the Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC) in recognition of its involvement in developing LEED® sustainable development techniques.

Complexe Jules Brillant

Complexe Jules Brillant along Highway 15 sees the light of day in 2012. The building is notable for its contemporary, avant-garde architecture. It is 86,070 square feet and LEED® certified.

Faubourg Boisbriand

After having acquired 2.5 million square feet in Faubourg Boisbriand, MONTONI constructs the first of a series of 8 buildings. This will contribute to the revitalization of the neighbourhood, which had suffered from the closing of the General Motors plant a few years before.

MONTONI receives the first gold-level LEED® certification for its Logistik Unicorp building, constructed in 2006.

Centre Corporatif Saint Laurent

Construction of the first industrial park composed of LEED®-certified buildings in Canada, totalling 720,728 sq. ft. The Saint-Laurent corporate centre highlights MONTONI’s involvement in sustainable development.

MONTONI completes a major project on the North Shore of Montreal: the Centre Corporative Terrebonne industrial complex includes 4 million square feet as well as a RONA distribution centre, amongst other features.

MONTONI launches its first industrial building project in Montreal: a 1-million-square-foot construction at the intersection of the Trans-Canada Highway and Côte-de-Liesse, housing Structube, Centura and Standard Products.

MONTONI acquires its first piece of heavy equipment for excavation, enabling the team to accelerate the construction process and ensure timelines are respected.

Centre Corporatif Lavel I

MONTONI executes its first industrial development in Laval: Phase 1 of Laval’s Corporate Centre. This project includes 14 new buildings totaling over 2.5 million square feet and was completed within three years. The success of this development garnered MONTONI contracts for the subsequent nine phases.

Dario Montoni

Dario Montoni, a 25-year-old engineer, sees an opportunity in the construction industry and revolutionizes the process of property development. By involving clients right from a project’s very early stages, he could create buildings that were beyond their expectations while still respecting budges and timelines. This led him to found Groupe MONTONI Construction Inc. (1995), a firm that stands out for its client-based approach, and immediately made an impression on the industry.
